“The real work of this life is not what we do every day from 9-5…The real work is to be passionate, be holy, be wild, be irreverent, to laugh and cry until you awaken the sleeping spirits, until the ground of your being cleaves and the universe comes flooding in.”
~Geneen Roth
I spent this past week doing all of the above. We traveled to Ireland for a seven-day driving tour of the country with three kids, no electronics, and a parent-sized sense of humor. My family is the real work of my life, but I am blessed in that I get to be passionate and holy and seek beauty in my writing as well. Today, I’m at Prodigal Magazine writing about life as an expat, a Jesus lover, and a Prodigal. I’d love to see you there.
